Horlicks Oats Kozhukattai ─ Vahchef - VahRehVah

Horlicks Oats Kozhukattai can be a quick and delicious recipe that can be made in a jiffy.

Ingredients: Horlicks Oats 1 cup Mustard seeds 1 tea spoon Oil as required Urad dal 1 tea spoon Chana dal 1 tea spoon hing pinch Cumin seeds 1 tea spoon Curry leaves 2 springs Green chilies (chopped) 3 number Onions (Chopped) 1 number Moong dal (soaked) 1 cup Salt to taste Water as required

Method:

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when they splutter, add urad dal, chana dal, hing, cumin seeds, curry leaves and fry them.
Now add chopped green chilies, onion, and saute it for about a minute and transfer to a bowl. 
Then add soaked moong dal to the same bowl,  prepare a mixture by adding Horlicks oats, salt (to taste) and required the amount of water.
Stuff this prepared mixture into modak molds, shape them and clean wrap foil to the modaks.
Steam-cook the modaks for about 10 minutes in a steamer with closed lid.

Delicious Horlicks Oats Kozhukattai is now ready to serve.
