Wondering what to do with that roll of cookie dough in the back of your freezer but you're ALSO craving a cupcake? I gotchu!
**PS This is another video that I filmed and edited myself. I'm trying to do that more as it's fun and I get to do it whenever I like/can and Sam is incredibly busy so it works around that. A few of you last week mistook this different format for me being sad/tired/on drugs (!) which I found a little bit ridiculous. I love that you guys care about me enough to be concerned, and watch my videos enough that you can tell there is a difference in the style of my DIY videos but that's all it is. Hopefully I'll get better at it and you can all just enjoy the recipes, which is my primary purpose for everything :)

Recipe -
For the cookies ...
350g plain flour
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 large free range egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
230g unsalted butter
100g caster sugar
220g light soft brown sugar
150g chocolate chips
For the Cupcakes...
100g burnt butter (start off with 125g, then measure again, as you'll lose some as the water evaporates)
30g soft butter
125g self raising flour
65g caster sugar
60g soft brown sugar
1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)
50g finely chopped choc chips
2 large eggs
1.5 tbsp milk
To decorate use vanilla buttercream, or even swiss meringue buttercream!
