These fabulous Peanut Butter and Jam (PB&J;) Cookies are a great kid-friendly alternative to traditional Christmas treats! Combining the classic childhood flavours of PB&J; and the universal appeal of delicious buttery cookies, this simple recipe is great for Christmas parties, edible gifts or leaving our for Santa - give it a try today!
Ingredients:
100g of Unsalted Butter (at room temperature)
1/2 Cup of Caster Sugar (Super Fine White Sugar)
1/2 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
3/4 Cup of Peanut Butter
1 Egg
1 1/4 Cups of Plain All Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
Approx. 1/3 Cup of Jam ( I used Raspberry Jam)
Preparation Time: About 20 minutes
Cooking Time: About 12 - 15 minutes per tray
MAKES ABOUT 24 COOKIES (approx.)
