POTLAM BIRYANI


Ingredients:

Chicken (Boneless) - 300gms
Basmati Rice - 1 1/2 cup
Oil - as required
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Onion - 3 Nos.
Salt - as per taste
Desicated coconut powder - 3 tps
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1tps
Sesame seed powder - 3 tps
Peanut powder - 3 tps
Water - as required
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Mint leaves - 1 bunch
Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
Tamarind juice - 2 tsp
green chilli - 4 Nos.
Tomato - 2 nos.
Yogurt - 1/2 cup
Egg - 3 no
Butter - 1 cubes
Boiled Egg - 1 no


Directions:

Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, chopped onion, salt saute it for slightly change the color and add desiccated coconut powder saute it nicely.

Then add Turmeric Powder, ginger garlic paste saute it. Add sesame seed powder, peanut powder cook it until raw flavor is gone by adding required amount of water.

Adding the masalas coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, mint leaves, coriander leaves mix it and some tamarind juice cook it for 10 mins on slow flame.

Biryani Preparation:

Heat oil in a pan, add boneless chicken, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, saute it for a minute and add mint leaves, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes cook it.

Then add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder saute it. Add hot water one cup of rice need 2 cups of water, salt mixed it and add soaked basmati rice, yogurt mixed this once and put the lid on cook it 10 to15 minutes. Now Biryani is ready. Take biryani in a bowl press it. Transfer into a plate strictly.

Heat a dosa pan, pure egg mixture make omelette, on the top put the biryani rice like shown the video. fold all sides of rice with omlette and cover the top.

Heat butter in a pan, add coriander leaves saute it. Cut into the rice centre pour the butter, boiled egg.

Delicious Potlam Biryani is ready to serve with chicken gravy.
