Badam Halwa & Kaju Kathli Recipe For Diwali - Happy Diwali ─ Vahchef - VahRehVah

Diwali is the festival of sweets so enjoy these two sweets made of Almonds - Badam in Hindi
Badam halwa
Ingredients;-
Almonds - 250 grams
Sugar - 200grams
Ghee - 100grams
Milk- 200ml
Saffron - 5no's
Food colour - as required
Method;-
First soaked badam for 3 hours.then peel it.
Put in to a mxie jar and add milk, grind in to fine paste.
Heat a pan add ghee, grinded badam paste,mix and cook
For 10 minutes in a slow flame.
Now add sugar and cook for some time.
And add soffron , food colour and mix it continuously
KAJU KATLI


INGREDIENTS:

Cashew nut - 500gms
Sugar - 250gms
Water - As required
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Oil - As required

DIRECTIONS:


Take cashew and make into powder as shown in the video. Take it into a bowl and kept aside.

Heat a pan, add sugar & water boil it. Make the sugar syrup into one string consistency.

Then add cardamom powder, cashew nut powder mix it & cook it on a slow flame for few minutes and make it into a dough form.

Roll the dough by topping up with saffron cut into desired shapes as shown video and serve it. Kaju Katli ready to serve.
