Moong Dal Halwa is one of very popular sweets in India and often i found it to be served in buffets in many Restaurants
INGREDIENTS:
Moong dal - 250 gms
Ghee - 300 gms
milk khoya (grated) - 100 gms
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - As Required
Cashew nut - 10 nos.
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Raisins - 10nos.
DIRECTIONS:
Firstly, soaked the moong dal 3 hours and grind into a fine paste.
Heat ghee in a kadai, add moong dal paste cook it keep mixing continuously when the moisture out of the halwa.
Then add milk khoya, sugar, water cook it well. Keep mixing continuously.
At last, add cardamom powder, cashew nuts, raisins mix it and cook it nicely. Then switch off the flame.
