Today we're going to show you how to make the slow fade, although we do use a bit more elderflower than the recipe suggests, because it should have been measured in a tsp not an ounce. Oops.

Slow Fade
---------
- 1.0 oz. Mezcal
- 1.0 oz. Dry Vermouth
- 1.0 oz. Campari
- 0.75 tsp. Elderflower liqueur
- 1 dash. Angostura bitters
- Garnish: grapefruit peel
This drink balances out a bit of the smoky flavor and bitterness with a light sweetness. We might have been off on how much elderflower to use, that touch of elderflower sweetness helps bring down the bit of campari.
