Masala khichadi is a very easy and simple recipe. It can be a one dish meal after a long tiring day or even on any other day. It is a really quick recipe and tastes just awesome. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup Rice
• 1/4 cup Tur dal
• 3~4 chopped Beans
• 1 chopped Potato
• 1 chopped Tomato
• 1/2 cup Green peas
• 1/2 cup Red pumpkin
• 1 tsp Coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp Goda masala
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• Green chili-Ginger-Garlic paste
• Salt to taste
• Water
• 1 tsp Ghee
• 1 tsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp Hing
• 7~8 Curry leaves
• 4~6 Garlic cloves
• 4~5 dry Red chilies
• 1/4 cup raw Peanuts
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves

Method:
• Take rice and dal in a pot and wash it really good.
• Transfer everything into a cooker.
• Add beans, potato, tomato, green peas, pumpkin, coriander powder, turmeric powder, goda
masala, red chili powder, green chili-ginger-garlic paste, salt and mix everything well together.
• Add water and mix well.
• Close the lid and cook on medium heat until 2 whistles.
• Open the lid and mix well once.
• Heat up ghee and oil in a pan.
• Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
• Add cumin seeds, hing, curry leaves, garlic, dry red chilies, peanuts and fry well.
• When garlic and peanuts get brown color add the tadka on the khichadi and mix well.
• Add coriander leaves and masala khichadi is all ready.
• Serve with lot of ghee.
