Betty demonstrates how to make Chocolate Syrup Bars. These bars are made by adding chocolate syrup and a few other ingredients to a yellow cake mix. They are great for fall!
Chocolate Syrup Bars
1 box yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1 cup Hershey’s chocolate syrup (I used Hershey’s Special Dark Chocolate Syrup.)
1 ½ cups miniature marshmallows
¾ cup chopped pecans
cooking oil spray
Place cake mix, eggs, and chocolate syrup in a large mixing bowl. Beat for 3 minutes on medium to high speed of an electric mixer until well blended. Stir in marshmallows and nuts. Spread batter into a 13-inch by 9-inch by 2-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking oil spray. Bake at 350 degrees (F) until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, about 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in baking dish. Cut into bars and place on a nice serving plate. Enjoy! --Betty :)
