• 1 cup besan (Bengal gram flour)
• ¼ cup all-purpose flour (maida)
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon turmeric (haldi)
• 1/8 teaspoon asafetida (hing)
• 3 tablespoons oil (canola or vegetable oil)
• Approx. ¼ cup water
Spice Mix
• 4 tablespoons coconut powder
• 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
• 3 teaspoon fennel seeds (saunf)
• 2 teaspoons coriander seeds or powder (dhania)
• 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
• 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
• ½ teaspoon garam masala
• 1/8 teaspoon asafetida (hing)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Also, Need
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour for rolling
• 2 tablespoons besan for batter
• Oil to fry
