Wild SALMON Sashimi Salad | Bart van Olphen ─ Bart's Fish Tales

I am visiting the amazing fishing community of Yup'Ik Eskimos in the village of Emmonak, at the border of the Yukon river in Alaska! Respect for nature is a major feature of Alaska's culture. For over 10.000 years the local fishermen and women fish here for the very best sustainable, wild and natural Alaskan Keta salmon! It is here where the wild, natural and MSC certified sustainable salmon is truly from the best quality you could think of and are caught with gill nets. This small scale fishing method makes sure there is enough salmon left for spawning upriver. With this ultra fresh Keta salmon, I am making a delicious sashimi salad. Crunchy, fresh and so simple to make. Enjoy.
