Horlicks Oats Dal Shorba ─ Vahchef - VahRehVah

This healthy instant Horlicks oats recipe is one of the best way to incorporate oats into our day to day life by adding extra richness with desired veggies.

Ingredients: Horlicks Oats 1 cup Slit green gram dal (Moong Dal) 1 cup Mint leaves 1/2 bunch Coriander leaves (chopped) 1/2 bunch Ginger (finely chopped) 1 tea spoon Garlic (finely chopped) 1 tea spoon Cumin seeds 1 tea spoon Tomatoes (chopped) 1 number Carrot (grated) 1 cup Salt to taste Hot water 3 cup Curd (beaten) 1/2 cup Oil 1 tea spoon Pepper (crushed) 1 tea spoon Brown Onion (fried) as required


Method:
Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a pan, add finely chopped ginger, garlic, cumin seeds, saute it.
After about half a minute, add fresh mint leaves, chopped coriander leaves and saute well.
Then add chopped tomatoes, grated carrot, salt along with hot water and beaten curd (optional).
Once the water comes to boil, add boiled moong dal, Horlicks oats and let it cook for about 3 minutes.
Later season it with crushed pepper powder, mix well, cook for about a minute and turn the flame off.
At last, sprinkle fried brown onion on top and give it a mix.

Delicious Horlicks Oats Dal Shorba is now ready to serve.
