Here is easy and simple recipe of making tortilla. This American flat bread is usually made from wheat or corn. Do try this easy and simple recipe and drop a comment for me. You also can like, share and subscribe.

Ingredients:
• 2 cups All purpose flour
• 2 tsp Baking powder
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp Dalda / Vanaspati ghee

Method:
• In a bowl take all purpose flour.
• Add baking powder, salt and mix well.
• Add dalda and mix well. You can use butter or ghee instead of
dalda.
• Mix until it comes together like breadcrumbs. It should have
coarse texture.
• Add a little water at a time and knead semi soft dough.
• The dough should neither too stiff nor too soft.
• Cover and rest the dough for at least 20-30 minutes.
• Knead the dough once more and make it nice, even and smooth.
• Divide the dough into 5 portions of same size.
• Take one of the dough ball, fold and tuck it inside.
• Make nice and soft ball. Roll the ball as we roll chapatti.
• Roll it into about 6-7" round disc.
• Transfer the chapatti into a dish and keep it covered.
• Heat up a pan on medium heat.
• Transfer a tortilla on hot pan and cook for just about a minute
from one side.
• Flip it over and cook until it gets nice even golden brown spots.
Do not cook it completely.
• Take the tortilla off the pan into a dish.
• Flour tortillas are ready.
• You can use these tortillas for making rolls or wraps.
