RECIPE:
Chiffon Cake:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Seeds of 1/2 vanilla bean
6 large eggs, separated
1/2 cup tart candies, finely crushed
Filling:
Swiss Buttercream Frosting
1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam
Pouring Fondant:
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
4 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
1/4 cup light corn syrup
6 tablespoons hot water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1) Melt chocolate chips.
2) In large bowl, mix powdered sugar, corn syrup, hot water, vanilla, and almond extract until smooth.
3) Fold in the melted chocolate until well combined.
