Cashew Lemon Upma
Ingredients:
Rava(Sooji) - 250
Onion(sliced) - 1
Green Chillies(Slit) - 4
Lemon Juice - 2
Cashew nuts(broken) - 2 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tsp
Chana Dal - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Red Chillies - 3
Green Chillies(Slit) - 3
Curry Leaves - 1 Spring
Hing - 1 Pinch
Turmeric - ½ tsp
Salt - As Required
Water - 750 ml
Method:
Heat a pan, Add Rava(Sooji)
Dry roast it, On a low flame
In the same pan, Add 2 tsp of Oil
Add 1 tsp of Mustard Seeds
Add 1 tsp of Cumin Seeds
Add 3 Red Chillies
Add a pinch of Hing
Add a sprig of Curry Leaves
Add 2 tsp ofCashew Nuts
Add 3 slit Green Chillies
Add 1 tsp of Urad Dal
Add 1 tsp of Chana Dal
Add 1 Sliced Onions
Saute it well
Add Salt as required
Add ½ tsp of Turmeric & Mix it well
Now add 750 ml of water & bring it to a boil
Add Roasted Rava & mix it well
Make sure no lumps are formed while adding rava
Add Lemon Juice to it & mix it well
