Chef Suresh Kanna shows you the full aromas of Sri Lanka in this chicken Biryani
SRILANKAN CHICKEN BIRYANI
Take a bowl add 500 grams of chicken
Add srilankan curry powder
(coriander seeds,cloves,cardamom,cinnamon stick
Curry leaves, pepper,cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds)
Add some salt
Add 1tb spn of coconut oil
Add ½ cup of coconut milk
Add 1 tsp of red chilli flakes
Add 1 tsp of lime juice
Add ½ tsp of turmeric powder
Add 2 sprigs of curry leaves and mix it well
In a pan add 2 tb spn of coconut oil
Add whole garam masala
Add 1 tsp of pepper
Add 2 sprigs of curry leaves
Add 1 tsp of chopped ginger & garlic
Add 4 green chillies
Add 2 pieces of lemongrass
Add ½ cup of sliced onions
Add ½ tsp of turmeric powder
Add 1tsp of red chilli flakes
Add 1 tsp of coriander powder
Add ½ cup of sliced tomatoes
Add marinated chicken
Add srilankan curry powder
Add some coconut milk
Add 1 tsp of cashew nut paste
Add 1 tsp of lime juice and mix it
In another pan add water
Add some salt add 2 pieces of lemon grass
Add 2 cup of basmati rice and cinnamon
And cook it.
Then transfer this rice in to a pan
Add some brown onions
Add fried carrot pieces, curry leaves
Raisins, cashew nuts,
Add boiled rice and coriander leaves
And cook for some time.
Take a pan add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
Add a pinch of turmeric powder
Then put this oil in to the rice
Now add1 tsp of ghee and put on lid
Cook it for some time.
In the same oil add egg, some salt, pepper powder
Chopped curry leaves and cook it
Now serve the biryani with fried egg.
