Kolhapuri sukka chicken is a very tasty dish. Chicken is not cooked in gravy but as the name suggests it is dry. It can be a good side dish. Try this Kolhapur style chicken a drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 250 gm Chicken
• 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
• Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil
• Finely chopped Onion
• Finely chopped Tomato
• 1 tsp Kanda lasun masala
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• Salt to taste
• A little Water
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
Method:
• Wash chicken really good 2-3 times.
• Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
• Rest it for about 2 hours for marinating.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add onion and fry until it turns nice golden.
• Add tomato, and cook for about 5 minutes.
• Add red chili powder, kanda lasun masala and mix well.
• Fry for 2 minutes more.
• Add salt and mix well.
• Add the marinated chicken and mix well.
• Cover and cook for about 10 minutes.
• Remove the lid and mix once more.
• Add water, cover and cook again for another 10 minutes.
• Remove the lid and mix well again.
• Check if the chicken is cooked properly.
• Add coriander leaves and mix well.
• Kolhapuri sukka chicken is all ready.
