Horlicks Oats Chocolate Balls ─ Vahchef - VahRehVah

This is a healthy take on the traditional chocolate balls. They are a big hit with all the age groups, and always go quick! You can store them in the freezer as they taste best frozen.




Ingredients:

Horlicks Oats 1 cup
Chocolate (cut into small pieces) 100 grams

Method:

Dry roast Horlicks oats and keep aside.
Boil water in a pan and melt chocolate to liquid consistency by using double boiler method.
Now add the dry roasted oats to the melted chocolate and mix well.
Later, transfer the prepared chocolate mixture into the chocolate moulds and freeze them.
Demould the frozen chocolates and use the remaining melted chocolate to shape them into balls.
At last garnish with a string of grated chocolate.

Delicious Horlicks Oats Chocolate Balls are now ready to serve.

Steps for double boiler method:

Fill pot about 1/4 full of water and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to a simmer and fit the bowl into the pot.
The bottom of the bowl should not reach the water (at least 2″ to 3″ space between the bowl and water is optimal).
Add the ingredients required to melt with steam of water and proceed with rest of the recipe instructions.
