Hyderabadi Naan with Indian National Soup Muligatwany
Ingredients For Soup:-
Butter - 2 tb spn
Pepper - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Garlic(chopped) - 1 tsp
Ginger(chopped) - 1 tsp
Onions(chopped) - ½ cup
Leeks - ½ cup
Celery - ½ cup
Carrots - ½ cup
Tomatoes - ½ cup
Apple - ½ cup
Vegetable Stock - 1 litre
Toor dal(boiled) - ½ cup
Chana Dal (boiled) - ½ cup
Fresh Cream - 3 tsp
Salt - As per taste.
Method:-
Heat butter in a pan add butter,pepper,cumin seeds and roast it for a minute,add garlic,ginger,onions.Saute it for sometime. Now add celery,carrots,tomatoes,chopped apple,vegetable stock,boiled toor dal and chana dal boil it for sometime. Drain it and grind it and again strain it as shown in the video.Lastly add salt and finish it by topping it up with fresh cream.
Hyderabadi Naan:-
Ingredients:-
Maida - 1 cup
Wheat Flour - ½ cup
Yeast - ½ tsp
Egg Wash - 2 tsp
Sugar - ½ tsp
Water - As Required
Salt - As Per Taste
Method:-
In a Mixing bowl add yeast,warm water,sugar and activate yeast. Then add Maida,Wheat flour and mix it into a soft dough.Rest it for 2-3 hours in a warm place. Now take the dough and roll it with rolling pin & cut it into squares shape.Give it an egg wash and bake it in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
