This drink is okay on total flavor, definitely worth an experience, but we're not sure it should go into our recipe book as a recipe you cannot miss. I feel like if you miss it, you'll live.
Here is the tiki drink known as the Cobra's Fang, or Cobra's Kiss depending on the restaurant you visit.
Cobra's Fang
â€" 1 ½ oz. 151 proof Demerara rum
â€" ½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
â€" ½ oz. Fresh Orange Juice
â€" ½ oz. Passion Fruit Syrup
â€" ¼ oz. Falernum
â€" 1 dash Angostura bitters
â€" 6 drops absinthe
So, if you're looking for another tiki drink to experience, create, or serve to friends give the cobra's fang a try and see what you think. This drink may taste entirely different with different overproof rum / 151. The recipe calls for a demerara 151 and we're confident that lemon hart 151 was the original brand of choice, but experimentation never hurt anyone (unless that experiment involved raising the dead).
