Green Chilli Palak Dal
Ingredients:
Spinach(Palak) - 2 Bunches
Toor Dal (Boiled) - 1 Cup
Green Chillies(Mild & slit) - 10
Onions(chopped) - 1
Garlic (Crushed) - 7 Pods
Mustard Oil - 1 tb spn
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Method:
Take a pan, Add Mustard Oil
Bring it to a Smoking Point
Add 1 tsp of Mustard seeds
Add 1 tsp of Cumin seeds
Add Crushed Garlic
Add chopped Onion
Add Salt to Taste
Add 10 mild Green Chillies
Add a Pinch of Nutmeg Powder
Add ½ tsp of Turmeric
Add Chopped Spinach
Add some Water
Add Boiled Toor Dal
Bring it to a nice Boil
Adjust the Salt
37 Crunchy Peanut Potato Fry
Ingredients:
Potatoes(chopped) - 250g
Peanuts - 50g
Red Chillies - 5
Salt - To Taste
Chana Dal - 1 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tsp
Garlic (Crushed) - 5 Pods
Curry Leaves - 2 Sprigs
Method:
Take a pan, Add Oil
Add Peanuts
Add 1 tsp Chana Dal
Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
Add 1 tsp Urad Dal
Add Chopped Potatoes
Add Salt to Taste
Add a Pinch of Turmeric
Add Crushed Garlic
Add Curry Leaves
When the Potatoes are cooked they start turning into Crunchy
Add ½ tsp Cumin Powder
Add ½ tsp Coriander Powder
Add ½ tsp Chilli Powder
Add 1 tsp desiccated Coconut
Finish it off with Coriander Leaves
