ULTIMATE FRENCH TOAST Recipe (For One!) | Cupcake Jemma ─ CupcakeJemma

You don't always need to share your treats, although if you do, you're obviously a very kind person. I do think that sometimes, you deserve to indulge yourself BY yourself. This recipe for my Ultimate French Toast is the perfect treat! You can totally multiply it if you want to, but if you just want to have a treat all to yourself, then you go right ahead, no judgement here!

INGREDIENTS:
2 lg eggs
2 tbsp double cream (or milk if you prefer)
2 tsp caster sugar
1 tsp demarara sugar
¼ tsp salt
â…› tsp mace
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
â…› tsp ground or freshly grated nutmeg
2 thick slices of Brioche or Challah or white bread
To cook, use butter melted together with a little oil, or clarified butter
