I love smoked mackerel! Mackerel is a really oily fish which makes it ideal for smoking. Today I am using these beautiful Scottish smoked mackerel fillets to make an incredible mackerel spread, to serve on your party, to have as a snack or just for a Sunday breakfast! I'm serving mine on Scottish Oatcakes, but feel free to use crackers, toast or anything else. Enjoy.
