KERALA STYLE FISH CURRY IN COCONUT MILK: A simple and tasty fish curry using coconut milk. Fish cooked in traditional Kerala style using coconut milk and coconut oil. Kerala fish curry with coconut milk is a simple and easy Kerala delicacy and is best served with hot steaming rice. Turmeric powder - 1 Teaspoons Pepper powder - 1 Teaspoons Coconut oil - 2 Tablespoons Ginger garlic paste - 1 Teaspoons Lemon juice - 1 Tablespoons Pom fret fish - 1 Numbers Mustard seeds - 1 Teaspoons Cumin seeds - 1 Teaspoons Curry leaves - 3 Springs Onion -1 Numbers Cardamom - 2 Numbers Bay leaf - 1 Numbers Green chilies - 4 Numbers Coriander powder - 1 Teaspoons Coconut milk - 1 Cup Rice flour - 2 Tablespoons Salt - as per taste Tomato - 2 Numbers
Method:
Take a plate and add turmeric powder, pepper powder, coconut oil, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and mix it well. Then apply to fish pieces and keep a side.
Now take a pan and add coconut oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and add coated fish and cook it well.
Add chopped onion, cardamom, bay leaf, chopped green chilies, coriander powder, coconut milk, rice flour and cook it for few mins.
Then add salt and cook it with closed lid for 10minutes. After few minutes add chopped tomato and cook it for few minutes.
Now switch off the flame and serve with hot rice.
