The Toronto Sour is something of a New York sour meets a Boston Sour however, without the egg white, it probably fits more of the New York sour style with the use of red wine. We use a Malbec because it calls for one, but some folks think it would be less "jammy" and sweet with a more dry red wine--so use a bone dry red if you like your cocktails less sweet.

The Toronto Sour
- 2 oz. Rye whiskey
- ¾ oz. Fresh lemon juice
- ¼ oz. Maple syrup
- ½ oz. Malbec (Dry Red Wine)
