Hariyali Horlicks Oats Balls is a delicious and healthy snack recipe. These oatmeal energy balls helps in fulfilling the day's nutrition requirement.
Ingredients:
Horlicks Oats 1+1/2 cup, Capsicum ( Chopped ) 1 cup, Green Chilies ( Chopped ) 2 number, Onions ( Chopped ) 1 number, Raw Mango ( Cut into small pieces ) 1 number, Coriander Leaves ( Chopped ) 1 bunch, Mint Leaves ( Chopped ) 1 bunch, Potatoes (Boiled and chopped into thin layers) 1 number, Green Peas 1/4 cup, Salt to taste, All-purpose Flour / Maida 1/2 cup, Corn Flour 1 tablespoon, Garam Masala Powder 1 tea spoon, Turmeric Powder 1/2 tea spoon, Nutmeg ( Grated ) 1/2 tea spoon, Oil as required, Coconut Milk 1/2 cup, Water as required.
Method:
To start with the preparation process of green sauce, use a blender to make a fine paste of chopped capsicum, green chilies, onion, raw mangoes, coriander leaves, mint leaves and keep it aside.
In a bowl, add boiled and chopped potatoes then season it with green peas, coriander leaves, salt and mash it.
Now, make small dumplings (small balls) with the prepared mixture by adding horlicks oats to it and keep them aside.
Prepare a slurry of all-purpose flour, corn flour, garam masala powder, turmeric powder along with salt (to taste) and water.
Now to complete the preparation of green sauce, heat oil in a pan, add the paste which was blended at the start of the process and season it with nutmeg, salt, garam masala powder, coconut milk and cook it for about 2 minutes.
Dip the prepared dumplings in the slurry and coat them with horlicks oats.
Deep fry the dumplings in hot oil and serve them hot with prepared green sauce.
