NUTRITION DAL MASALA FRIED RICE WITH SNAKE GOURD: Today’s curry recipe is one of the delicious and simple dish made of snake gourd / pudalangai.Snake gourd is a tasty & low-calorie vegetable which is very rich in magnesium, phosphorous and calcium. It is a perfect vegetable option for diabetics and dieters.

Ingredients: Water as required Rice 1 Cup Oil as required Pepper corns 1 Teaspoon Dry red chilies 3 Numbers Coriander seeds 1 Teaspoon Chana dal 1 Teaspoon Toor dal 1 Teaspoon Urad dal 1 Teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon Tamarind 1 Teaspoon Green chilies 4 Numbers Curry leaves 2 Sticks Salt as per taste Ghee 2 Tablespoons Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon Ginger Small Garlic 5 Numbers Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon Onion 1 Number Snake gourd 1 Number Milk 1 Cup Coriander leaves 1/2 Cup
Method:




Boil water in a pan, after that add rice and cook it.
Then take a pan, add oil, pepper corns, dry red chilies, coriander seeds, Chana dal, toor dal, urad dal, cumin seeds,
Tamarind, green chilies, curry leaves and sautĂŠ it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add 1 teaspoon of rice, salt to the same pan and mix it.
Then transfer into a plate make it cool.
Take a blender add these ingredients and make it into a coarse powder and keep aside.
Now take a pan add ghee, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chopped ginger and garlic, turmeric, chopped onion.
Add sliced snake gourd pieces and cook it well.
Then add milk put on lid and cook it.
Add salt and cook it again.
Then add masala powder that we have prepared at the starting and mix it.
Now add cooked rice and toss It well.
Add coriander leaves and serve it.
