Zarda Pulao is a perfect sweet recipe with basmati rice for festival season. Zarda is a traditional dish which is mainly prepared in weddings in the north Indian Muslim communities.
Ingredients:     Water as required     Butter 1 Tablespoon     Basmati rice 1 Cup     Almonds 8 Numbers     Cashew nuts 8 Numbers     Walnuts 8 Numbers     Raisins 8 Numbers     Fresh coconut powder 2 Tablespoons     Milk 1 Cup     Sugar 1 Cup     Cardamom powder 1 Teaspoon     Saffron color as required
Method:
Take a pan, add water and let it boil.
After boiling, add butter, soaked basmati rice and cook it well.
Take another pan add butter, chopped almonds, chopped pistachios, chopped cashew nuts, walnuts, raisins and cook it for 2 to 3 minutes.
Then add fresh coconut powder, milk, sugar, even add saffron color and cook it well.
Later add the cooked rice in it, mix and cook it on slow flame for 5-10 minutes.
Serve in a serving plate after 5 more minutes.
Sprinkle the cardamom powder.
Ready to eat.
