Dragon dumpling of okra is a tasty snack recipe. This fried dumpling remain crispy for more than one hour.
INGREDIENTS:
Okra 10-15 nos
Green chillies 2-3 nos
Onions 1nos
Curry leaves 1 spring
Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Mixed herbs(optional) 2 pinch
All purpose flour ½ cup
Cornmeal flour ½ cup
Baking powder ¼ tsp
Salt To taste
Oil To fry
Buttermilk As required
METHOD:
1. Cut okra and green chillies into thin pieces.
2. Chop onions, curry leaves and coriander leaves.
3. Take a bowl, add okra, green chillies, onions, curry leaves, coriander leaves, mixed herbs, all purpose flour, cornmeal flour, baking powder, salt, little oil mix nicely using little buttermilk.
4. Drop in the dumpling in hot oil and deep fry until crispy.
5. Transfer into serving plate and serve it with chilly garlic sauce.
