Beetroot salad is colourful and healthy recipe as beetroot is a red colour with an acquired taste that has been linked with better stamina, improved blood flow and lower blood pressure.
INGREDIENTS:
Onion 1 nos
Green chillies 2 nos
Oil 1 tsp
Ground nut 1 tbs
Beetroot(grated) 1 cup
Curry leaves 1 spring
Salt To taste
Coconut(grated) 1 tbs
Coriander leaves 1 tsp
Sesame seeds 1 tsp
Chat masala Âź tsp
Lime ½ slice
METHOD:
1. Chop onion and green chillies and keep aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan, add roasted ground nut, onions, green chillies and saute it.
3. Add beetroot and saute it.
4. Add curry leaves, salt and saute it, later switch off the flame.
5. Add coconut, coriander leaves, sesame seeds, chat masala, lime juice and mix it.
6. Transfer into a serving bowl, and top it with sesame seeds.
7. Now beetroot salad is ready to serve.
