MUTTIYA RAS RECIPE : This simple Methi Muthia Curry is cooked with vegetable cluster beans, potatoes.Muthia nu Shaak is an authentic Gujarati recipe that is made from ridge gourd.
Ingredients:     Spring onion 2 Bunch     Desiccated coconut powder 2 Tablespoons     Sesame seeds 1 Tablespoons     Sugar 1 Teaspoons     Salt as per taste     Wheat flour 1/2 Cup     Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoons     Cumin seeds 2 Teaspoons     Red chili powder 2 Teaspoons     Coriander seeds 1 Tablespoons     Chick pea flour 1/2 Cup     Water as required     Oil as required     Peanuts 2 Tablespoons     Dry coconut 1/2 Cup     Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoons     Hing 1 Teaspoons     Tomato puree 1/2 Cup     Coriander powder 1 Teaspoons     Tamarind pulp 1/2 Cup     Fenugreek seeds 1 Teaspoons     Onion 1 Numbers     Curry leaves 3 Springs
Method:
Take a bowl and add chopped spring onion, coconut powder, sesame seeds, sugar, salt, wheat flour, turmeric, cumin, red chili powder, crushed coriander seeds, chick pea flour and mix it well. And add little by little water and mix it like as shown in the video.
And make it like patties and deep fry in hot oil. Then transfer to a plate and keep a side.
Now take a blender and add peanuts, coconut pieces, water and make it into a fine paste and keep a side.
Take a pan and add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, chopped onion, curry leaves, turmeric powder, hing and SautÄĹ  it well. And add coconut and peanuts paste and cook in a slow flame.
Add tomato puree, red chili powder, coriander powder, tamarind pulp, water, salt and put on lid and cook it.
After boiling add sugar, fried patties and cook it for 1 min.
Ready to eat.
