TINDORA AND METHI LEAVES FRIED RICE :
You can make tindora fry, tindora curry, chutney and even sambar with tindora. Today we will see how to make Tindora rice. Tindora, Aloo and Methi Masala is a delicious Indian recipe served as a Side Dish. Dondakaya Annam is an easy to cook Indian rice recipe using Tindora/Ivy Gourd. Salt as per taste Rice 2 Cup Oil as required Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon Dry red chili 3 Numbers Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon Urad dal 1 Teaspoon Peanuts 1 Tablespoon Curry leaves 3 Springs Green chilies 4 Numbers Hing 1 Teaspoon Tindora 8 Numbers Fresh coconut paste 1/2 Cup Sugar 1 Teaspoon Sambar powder 1 Tablespoon Fenugreek leaves 1/2 Cup
Method:
Take a pan, add water (i.e., for 1 cup of rice, take 2 cups of water), oil, salt and let it boil. After boiling, add soaked rice and cook it.
Now take another pan and add oil, mustard seeds, dry red chili, cumin seeds, urad dal, peanuts and sautÄĹ it.
Add curry leaves, chopped green chilies, turmeric powder, hing, sliced tindora, salt and cook it well.
Now add fresh coconut paste, sugar, sambar powder, chopped fenugreek leaves and cook it.
Then add pre-cooked rice and toss it well.
Serve it hot.
