ROUND CUCUMBER WITH SPINACH & COCONUT KOOTU ─ Indian Master Chef

Ingredients: Water as required Cucumber 1 Number Spinach 2 Bunch Chana dal 1/2 Cup Green chilies 4 Numbers Tamarind pulp 1 Cup Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon Red chili powder 1 Teaspoon Fresh coconut paste 1/2 Cup Oil as required Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon Cumin seeds- 1 Teaspoon Dry red chili 3 Numbers Garlic 4 Numbers Curry leaves 3 Springs




Method:
Take a pan, add water, chopped cucumber and cook it. After cucumber is half cooked, add soaked chana dal, chopped spinach and cook it well.
Add green chilies, tamarind pulp mixed with cucumber seeds juice, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coconut paste and cook it well.
Now take another pan and add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chili, garlic, curry leaves and sautĂŠ it. And transfer into spinach pan and cook it.
Serve with hot rice.
